If you have 2 and half hours and really enjoy large robots beating the crap out of each other then Transformers 2 is for you. It's basically 180 minutes of CGI and Shia Labeouf looking annoyed and shouting a lot.
If, however, you were actually expecting a film (i.e. plot, story, character development, themes, direction, acting) then I would save your money. You won't find any of that here.

I find it difficult to believe that anyone with half a brain actually expected a film with plot, character development, direction, etc. after seeing the previews and reviews of this movie.
Seriously one of the worst movies I've seen in ages. And that's saying something.

Paul: Very true. I did expect at least half as much plot as the first movie though.
Paige: Welcome to THE blog. It's pretty bad isn't it? I saw G.I. Joe last night and at least that acknowledges that it's a CGI action fest.
Man that was an awful movie. I'm glad that I rented it instead of going to the theater to see it.
